Officials / Fees
- Our goal is to have PIAA or USAFH officials (1 per field) at all games and scrimmages for Grades 3/4 and 5/6. We also like to invite high school and middle school players to work with the adult officials in order to continue to pay it forward to the sport of field hockey.
- Fees for the season will go to paying the officials and off setting any other costs the hosting teams incur.
- We host a spring officiating training for HS / MS players interested in learning to officiate.
- HS and MS Referee Training Update - We trained 21 Level I officials and 7 Level II officials from 4 different school districts over the course of 3 weeks this spring! Fran Corl and Lois Pinto of USA Field Hockey led the training and we are excited to watch how these trainees progress this fall. We will be sending out a Sign Up Genius in August to invite these trained officials to assist our PIAA refs with reffing our games.
